Medical Center of the Rockies - UCHealth

Medical Center of the Rockies (MCR) is a Level I Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons and is designated by the State of Colorado.  We are located in Loveland, Colorado.  We serve trauma patients for Northern Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska.  Our multidisciplinary team of trauma care professionals is available 24 hours a day to the injured patient and their family, providing expert care, communication, and comfort. 

 

Dr. Chris Cribari is the regional Acute Care Trauma Medical Director and Dr. Joel Elterman is the Trauma Medical Director at Medical Center of the Rockies. We have 16 Trauma surgeons and 15 advanced care providers. 

 

MCR is nationally recognized as a top performing hospital in trauma patient outcomes.  MCR supports a robust trauma research program and is a leader in the care of the injured patient. MCR has been a Magnet designated facility for nursing excellence since 2014.

Beyond clinical care, we connect people to one another through AMPOWER®, a peer-to-peer support program for people with limb loss or limb difference. The mission of AMPOWER is to empower and strengthen those affected by amputation or limb difference through peer mentorship, education, and community. It consists of a nationwide network of trained peer mentors who have successfully recovered and rehabilitated following amputation and want to share their personal experiences with you.
