Neurofeedback to treat TBI
by Trying on Aug 28, 2017, 05:06AM

Hi here is the lead in – I was given a QEEG, which is a test to map the brain and show where there are spots that indicate trauma. I got the test back – which shows I have a “mild” (nothing mild about it) brain injury. Along with the test results – which were read by a Neurologist – this is all he does, a highly recognized specialist in the field – recommendations for Neurofeedback treatment. MY QUESTION: HAS ANYONE GONE THROUGH NEUROFEEDBACK FOR TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY – AND HOW DID IT AFFECT YOU, AND/OR WHAT WERE THE RESULTS? DID YOU GET RELIEF? WHAT WAS IT LIKE, SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE… I AM SEEKING MORE INFORMATION BEFORE I CHOOSE THIS PATH. Thank You

Hello, I have had countless tbi’s, with life changing effects. I go to neuro feedback 2 times a week (just came back 20 mins ago), and I am seeing a difference in my mental cognition and pain levels. I would reccomend giving it a try. I also found success in hyperbaric oxygen tank treatment, that’s what got my memory back and a lot of my cognitive functioning back to par. I hope you find success in neurofeedback, let me know how it goes!
