Motorcycle accident affected both my son and husband
by Buckaroo on Jun 30, 2019, 07:03PM

My son was involved in a traumatic motorcycle accident (Oct 2018) and my husband witnessed it. Both are dealing with depression and my son, Buck is recovering from surgeries on his left arm. Buck has no use of his left arm and It is unclear how much, if any use of it he will regain. That is a harsh reality for a single 31 year old guy with a physically demanding career and it breaks my heart for him. Buck doesn’t remember anything about the accident but my husband remembers everything and continues to relive it and dream about it in very vivid detail so my husband suffers from emotional trauma of the accident. I am grateful to have connected with TSN and the local support group for my son and husband. Thanks to Leah Hindel for visiting Buck in the hospital and offering TSN resources!
