damage to pituitary caused low growth hormone
I suffered a TBI in a severe auto accident (13 months ago). One lingering problem is endocrine damage (glands/hormones) in my head. An endocrinologist has determined that my pituitary gland was damaged and that I have I very low growth hormone levels. I think some of my other symptoms (sleeplessness) may be caused by hormone changes that were also caused by damage from the auto accident. Has anyone else had endocrine changes? I need some advice because I am having trouble navigating the medical system and getting the appropriate help.
