2 wrecks in less than a week
On January 9th I was driving and hit some back ice and slid down a bank with minor injuries. On January 14th I had a doctors appointment to be cleared to go to work and on the way home I was involved in a head on collision. Me and my grandpa were heading home when a driver tried to pass a school bus in a no passing zone in a curve. The dash went through my knee and was only 1/3 of an inch from hitting the bone so I was transferred to the hospital to get emergency surgery. My grandpa was not so lucky and he didn’t make it. It took me almost 2 months to be able to walk again and even now I still have trouble with stairs and other things, but the hardest thing was losing my grandpa. I would do anything to have him back and some days I feel so guilty and wish I could take his place. 2 wrecks in less than a week has left me with terrible dreams and ptsd. I hate getting in the car and refuse to go anywhere unless I absolutely have to.
