As the first Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center in Pennsylvania, the Trauma Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for injured children. Our trauma program has trauma experts available around-the-clock to care for your child. We are committed to trauma research, education, prevention and a number of community outreach activities.
Our patient population includes all children admitted to our hospital with a traumatic injury and their families, as well as those seen in our outpatient Trauma Clinic. We serve children and their families locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
