Not every hospital is prepared to treat trauma patients, but at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital we have a specially trained team to care for your serious emergencies. As the only Level ll Trauma Center in Clay County, HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital has the proven expertise to save lives within the golden hour. Being a Level ll Trauma Center means we provide a higher level of care for the most critically injured patients. It also means our standards and performance are regularly reviewed by the Florida Department of Health. In an emergency, you are in good hands at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital.

Survivor Testimony: Caleigh's Story

Caleigh's blind date ended badly when she was involved in a car accident that sent her to Orange Park Medical Center's Trauma Center (HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital). The skilled team of trauma trained physicians and nurses acted fast and treated Caleigh during that very critical golden hour.

BrainLine is a national multimedia project offering information and resources about preventing, treating, and living with TBI. Hope After Head Injury

Hope After Head Injury exists to bring hope to those who have been impacted by brain injury. Information regarding elder services and activities is available through the Elder Helpline Information and Assistance service within each Florida County. Mental Health Resource Center, Inc (MHRC) -Duval County

MHRC provides a wide range of behavioral health and social services to the community including 24-hour emergency services; inpatient psychiatric services; and numerous outpatient services, including medication management, case management, counseling, supported housing, psychosocial rehabilitation, and more. United Way 2-1-1

United Way 2-1-1 is operational 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year and helps callers from 9 Northeast Florida counties. They include: Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Baker, Nassau, Columbia, Suwannee, Hamilton, and Putnam countries. To call, dial 211.

Florida Department of Children and Families Abuse Hotline

The Florida Abuse hotline accepts reports 24-hours a day and 7 days a week for known or suspected child abuse, neglect, or abandonment and reports of known or suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a vulnerable adult. You can report online at or call 1-800-96-ABUSE or 800-96-2873 or Florida Relay 711 or TTY 800-955-8771 or fax your report to 800-914-0004. If you suspect or know of a child or vulnerable adult in immediate danger, call 911.

Florida Bureau of Victim Compensation

As the victim of a crime, you may be eligible to receive assistance related to the following: Wage loss, loss of support, disability, funeral/burial, treatment expenses, mental health and grief counseling, property loss reimbursement, and relocation assistance for domestic violence, sexual battery, and human trafficking. Georgia Crime Victims Compensation Program

When other resources are exhausted, the Georgia Crime Victims Compensation Program (Victims Comp) may be able to assist you with up to $25,000 in compensation for expenses and loss of income or support as a result of the victimization including help you access court ordered restitution and secure the placement of a memorial for a loved one killed by an impaired driver and more.

Victim Connect Resource Center

Weekday phone, chat, and text referral helpline operated by the National Center for Victims of Crime. Serves area available for all victims of Crime in the United States and its territories. Call 1-855-4VICTIM (1-855-484-2846) or to chat.

National Domestic Violence Hotline

Provides direct connection to help via online chat or telephone (800)-787-3224. Education regarding the signs of an abuse relationship as well as information on how to get out safely are also provided.

Florida Coalition against Domestic Abuse

Provides connection to resources for victims of domestic violence as well as free training for the professionals and volunteers who work with them.


Quigley House Home (Clay County)

Quigley House is a comprehensive Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center. Mission: to provide advocacy and empowerment to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault while providing community education to heighten awareness. 1-800-339-5017 or 904-284-0061

Hubbard House (Duval and Baker Counties)

Micah's Space (Nassau County)

This non-profit organization provides outreach services, information and referrals via 24-hour toll-free hotline (904-225-9979), and 24 bed emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence.

Lee Conlee House (Putnam County)

Betty Griffin House (St. Johns County)
