Medical Center of the Rockies - UCHealth

Medical Center of the Rockies (MCR) is a Level II Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons and is designated by the State of Colorado.  We are located in Loveland, Colorado.  We serve trauma patients for Northern Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska.  Our multidisciplinary team of trauma care professionals is available 24 hours a day to the injured patient and their family, providing expert care, communication, and comfort. 


Dr. Chris Cribari is our UCHealth System Trauma Medical Director and Dr. Warren Dorlac is Medical Center of the Rockies Trauma Medical Director.  We have 12 Trauma surgeons and 8 advanced care providers. 


MCR is recognized nationally as a top performing hospital in trauma patient outcomes.  MCR supports a robust trauma research program and is a leader in the care of the injured.  MCR opened in 2014 as a Trauma and Cardiac Center offering specialized Critical Care to the region.  MCR has been a Magnet designated facility of nursing excellence every year since 2014.
