Trauma Survivors Network - provided by ATS

The Trauma Center at USA Health University Hospital is the first in south Alabama to earn Level I status, indicating the highest level of care.  A Level I center such as USA Health University Hospital provides a systematic response to trauma utilizing resources from all medical specialties to meet the special needs of the seriously injured patient at a moment's notice.  This organized approach greatly improves the patient’s chance for survival. The USA Health University Hospital's Trauma Center admits more than 1,400 trauma patients per year.
