Starting Over
We’ll, I’m now home from the hospital. Had a bad car wreak, as many of us probably have. I broke my pelvis in the two places, just two weeks before starting the job of my dreams. Lost my car, lost my job, stuck at home in a wheelchair. I know I’m fortunate to be alive. The driver’s side was completely caved in. They had to cut me out of the car. It took an hour, and it was extremely scary. Can’t walk until the bones grow around the screws they put in me. I find myself bored, sad, stuck, Still hurts to move and is hard to transfer from my chair to the bed or the potty or the shower. Everything takes twice as long. But; I’m home.
