I was 12

30 years ago at the age of 12 i was struck in the head/face while playing soccer. The opposing player and i both dove for the ball and both missed. The top of his head hit the side of my face and since he was 4 years older and had a good 80 pounds at least on me i got the worst of it. Broken right lower orbital bone, loss of quite a bit of smell and taste, one eye is now a few millimeters further back than the other as well as my brain bouncing off my skull causing epilepsy. Thankfully my nerve was pinched and i never felt any pain. The seizures went away with time and meds by the age of 16. I now have a titanium plate under my eye. What I have been searching for is if it is possible there were underlying injuries never caught that would explain my weight gain as an adault despite caloric deficits, while eating healthy foods, and light exercise as time allows a few times a week. Is this possible?
