Trauma Survivors Network - provided by ATS

Survive. Connect. Rebuild.

A Program of the ATS

HCA Ft. Walton-Destin Hospital

As Okaloosa County's only Trauma Center, our hospital provides a higher level of care that is beyond the capabilities of the emergency rooms (ERs) at other local hospitals in our area. We partner with area hospitals and EMS (Ground and Air Assets) to ensure safe transfer and quality care of our Trauma Patients.

Here at HCA Florida Fort-Walton Destin Hospital, we see an average of 2300 Traumatic Injuries per year. We pride ourselves in caring for every aspect of injury--from prevention through rehabilitation as well as meeting the psychological, emotional, and social needs of our patients.

We are an American College of Surgeons (ACS)-verified Level II Adult Trauma Center and an Alabama State-verified Adult Level I Trauma Center.
