Southcoast St. Luke's Hospital
St. Luke’s Hospital is the first and only ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center in the Massachusetts EMS Region V, which covers the state’s southeastern region. Severely injured patients in Region V — who previously would have been taken by ambulance or medical helicopter to a Level I trauma center in Boston or Rhode Island Hospital in Providence — can now be treated locally. St. Luke's cares for approximately 2,000 injured trauma patients every year and has been a verified trauma center since 2021.
