Gunshot or Knife Wounds
Almost a quarter of all spinal cord injuries is related to violent encounters, often involving guns and knifes. Gunshot or knife wounds may directly penetrate the spinal cord and can either completely or partially sever the spinal cord and create life-long disabilities.
