Resources for Survivors

Welcome to the TSN Resource Center where you can learn from the experts. Here you can:

  • Access the Patient and Family Handbook prepared for you by your trauma center. The Handbook provides you with practical information about your trauma center and what to expect in the hours and days after the injury.
  • Explore the TSN ‘Traumapedia and learn more about some common injuries, how they are managed and what to expect as you move through rehabilitation and return home. The content of the Traumapedia is continually updated by a community of health care experts, researchers, and survivors.
  • Listen to our featured experts talk about issues of importance to survivors and their families. These videos are produced by the TSN to answer some of your most commonly asked questions.

If you have suggestions about how we can add to these resources, please contact us.

You will need to register with the TSN to see what is currently available at your trauma center. If one or more of these programs is not yet available at your trauma center, you can always go to our Community Forum to link up with other survivors and their families for information, support and hope.
