Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center is a ACS Verified Level II Adult Trauma Center located in the heart of Marietta, Georgia. With 633 inpatient beds and 166 Emergency Department beds, Kennestone is one of Metro Atlanta's largest hospitals. To best serve our community, Kennestone has 24/7 access to specialty service coverage, including but not limited to: Trauma Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic Trauma, Comprehensive Stroke and Cardiac services, and a variety of additional surgical services.

2024 Race to Rebuild: A virtual walk/run/cycle/roll event


Race to Rebuild is a virtual walk/run/cycle/roll distance of your choice event that anyone can join in support of trauma survivors and the incredible challenges they face every day. Race to Rebuild is a virtual race that anyone anywhere can join in support of friends, family and others who challenge themselves daily to adapt to their "new normal". You can choose any day during the month of May to complete your walk/run/cycle/roll. Learn more

National Trauma Survivor Day


On Wednesday, May 15th the TSN community will celebrate National Trauma Survivors Day (NTSD). This celebration seeks to draw inspiration from and provide support to survivors of traumatic injuries and their caregivers, opening the road to their recovery from trauma. Learn more

NextSteps Program

Dates & Times Vary

NextSteps is a virtual six-week program that helps survivors manage life after serious injury. You will join a “class” of 8-12 survivors, covering subjects such as handling depression and grief, dealing with friends and family, working with health professionals, managing anxiety, and getting back on track. Alcoholics Anonymous

The National Center for PTSD offers national resources for trauma survivors and families, which includes information about PTSD, resources such as the PTSD Coach Online, and videos from other survivors and professionals.
