Motor Vehicle
According to the US Department of Transportation, almost 44,000 people died in motor vehicle crashes in 2005 (www.dot.gov), and many more have suffered serious and life debilitating injuries as a result of a motor vehicle crash. This includes drivers, passengers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorcyclists. Although driving is a common everyday occurrence for some, following traffic laws and being aware of risky behavior reduces your risk of injury and death, to you, and to many others around you.Reference: Center for Disease Control
