Physiatrist
A physiatrist specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), a branch of medicine dealing with functional restoration for persons affected by physical disability and chronic pain. Emphasis is placed on the optimization of function through the combined use of medications, physical and occupational therapy, and experiential training approaches.
